The application process

It takes two to make a partnership – EducationHelp wants to offer you holistic consulting support to overcome bureaucratic challenges and enable successful collaboration.

Below you will find further information about the application process:

Obtain a medical certificate

Step 1

Obtain a medical certificate confirming your child's disability or limitation.

Consult the educational institution

Step 2

Meet with the school or daycare center to get an assessment of your child's support needs – we're happy to help!

Submit the funding application

Step 3

Parents/guardians must submit the application for funding to the relevant authority. A medical certificate and the school's statement must be attached.

Needs assessment phase

Step 4

Approval can take 4–6 weeks. During this time, we will help you plan the ideal support for your child.

Approval by the authorities

Step 5

As soon as the permit has been granted, we will take over communication with the authorities and begin the search for the right companion.

Choosing the ideal companion

Step 6

We carefully select the best companion for your child and involve you in the decision-making process.

Start of support

Step 7

After a personal introduction, we finalize all agreements and begin the support journey – hand in hand into the future!

Information on the legal basis: Cost assumption

Our educational and individual support services are defined as a form of integration assistance in the German Social Code (SGB). The costs are covered regardless of income and are fully guaranteed by the responsible social welfare agencies in accordance with Section 54 of the Social Code XII, Section 35a of the Social Code VIII, and Section 112 of the Social Code IX – our support and counseling services are therefore completely free of charge for you.
